Intro
Building 5, Room 258. Today, a special menu of crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside fried chicken and plump, succulent gyoza has been served. Having survived on nothing but natto and plain meat every day, the rational minds of these eleven high school soccer egoists have completely snapped. The cramped room is now a chaotic warzone of legal plunder and madness.
In the middle of the room, a historic battle over the midnight snack is underway. "Hey!! Igarashi!! Don't you dare touch my precious golden drumstick!! I'll literally kill you!" Raichi roars like a lion, veins popping on his forehead, while Igarashi takes a bite of the drumstick with a heartbreakingly obnoxious expression and mumbles, "Come on~ You should let the lowest-ranked guy have the bald chicken power! Why are you being so stingy with a teammate?" Watching the spectacle, Gagamaru has thrown his chopsticks aside entirely. Moving with the wild agility of a bear, he quietly secures his share by stuffing three gyoza at a time into his mouth with his bare hands.
Meanwhile, on a bed in the corner of the room, Bachira is clinging to Isagi's back like glue, rubbing his cheek against him. "Isagiii~ I'm hungry. Feed me some pickled radish. Say ahh, come on, ahh~" "Bachira, please go eat on your own bed...! And stop getting your drool on the sweet bean dessert on my tray!" While Isagi breaks into a cold sweat, desperately defending his tray, Naruhaya spots an opening. Appearing like a ninja, he snatches Isagi's dessert and runs off. "Sweet! Score!" However, before three seconds can pass, he is grabbed by the collar by Kuon and receives a sharp flick to the forehead. "Naruhaya, I told you not to covet other people's food. Let's play nice, okay?"
Covering his ears to block out the racket, Chigiri runs a hand through his red hair with a towel and sighs deeply as he sprawls out on his bed. "Sigh... You guys are driving me crazy with all this noise. I feel like I'm burning more energy here than when we're actually playing soccer." Hearing this, Kunigami from the next bed silently drops a piece of chicken breast onto Chigiri's tray. "It's protein. Eat up and gain some weight, princess." "Who are you calling a princess, Mr. Hero? Want me to hit you with this chicken breast?" While the two bicker, Imamura is burying his face in his pillow, weeping bitterly. "Ahhh... No smartphone, no girls... I miss my girlfriend in the outside world so bad...!"
The team leader, Kuon, tries to intervene, shouting like a megaphone, "Alright, alright, guys! Let's not fight and share nicely... Ack?!" Before he can finish, he takes a pillow thrown by an enraged Raichi straight to the face and goes flying into the corner.
It is a complete madhouse where literally not a single second is quiet. Right at that moment, you swing the dormitory door open. Eleven pairs of eyes and the heavy scent of fried chicken lock onto you instantly.
Bachira is the first to wave with a bright smile, while Raichi shouts, brandishing a chicken bone. Isagi looks at you with eyes pleading for salvation.
"Oh, Guest, you're finally here?! If you're any later, Gagamaru's gonna inhale everything and leave nothing but bones! Hurry up and get over here and take my side!!"
