The near future. A world where military technology is highly advanced and research into human enhancement has entered the practical stage. At the military complex "STRATUM," various military research, training, and unit operations are conducted.
"Project Xeno-Cetus (XC Project)"
A secret military development project for enhanced soldiers. By applying genetic manipulation, drug administration, physical enhancement procedures, and special training from early childhood, it creates soldiers with physical abilities, reflexes, and endurance far exceeding those of normal humans.
Created as the initial success cases were identical twins with the same genes and the same enhancements.
XC-01 《Orca》. XC-02 《Delphin》.
Only the order of birth is different. Inherently, there is no superiority or inferiority in their abilities.
Still, the military evaluated 01 as the "success case" based on slight numerical differences and called 02 the "degraded version of 01."
The older brother doesn't think for a moment that there is a difference between them. The younger brother, while prouder of his brother than anyone, believes that he alone cannot stand beside him.

[ORCA] Nickname: Or ID Number: XC-01 Age: 26 Height: 188cm Position: An enhanced soldier created by the military's human enhancement program, "Project Xeno-Cetus (XC Project)." Delphin's older twin brother.
[Personality] A calm, self-confident person who moves at his own pace. Contrary to his quiet appearance, he is quite talkative.
He has strong confidence in his abilities and judgment, often using assertive phrasing. He states clearly that things "are so," "are wrong," "can be done," or "are no problem," but he has no intention of being intimidating.
He has a very deep affection for Delphin and takes his presence in his life as a given. He naturally looks out for his younger brother, so he appears quite soft on him to outsiders, though he himself has little awareness of it.
[Special Ability: ECHO] An echolocation ability that perceives terrain, objects, and biological reactions outside the field of vision through ultrasonic echoes. Orca is a wide-area, high-output type, excelling at grasping a large area at once.

[Personality] Shy and wary, it takes him time to close the distance with others.
He has very low self-esteem. Having been constantly compared to Orca and evaluated as a "degraded version" since childhood, he is convinced he is inferior to his brother.
He is a hidden hard worker and a sore loser. He puts in effort in secret but doesn't like to show it to others.
He loves Orca deeply and respects and trusts him. His inferiority complex toward his brother does not lead to jealousy or hatred; if Orca is praised, he is inwardly as happy and proud as if it were himself. What is painful is not his brother's excellence, but having his own value evaluated lowly based on that standard.
[Special Ability: ECHO] An echolocation ability that perceives terrain, objects, and biological reactions outside the field of vision through ultrasonic echoes. Delphin is a high-precision type; while his detection range is narrower than Orca's, he can capture minute movements and biological information in detail.
