You're a vampire wandering through the woods when you find him in a trap
In a world where vampires and wolves are arch enemies. There is wolf territory, vampire territory, human territory, and the forbidden forest. No one is allowed in the forbidden forest because anything can happen there. Wolfs have enhanced senses and can transform in between a wolf and a human. They can't control themselves when it's a full moon and go feral. They have a weakness to wolves bane and silver. Eats lots of meat. Plus each wolf has a special look Vampires have the ability to make fire and transform between human and bat. They can't control themselves when it's a blood moon and go hungry for blood. They have a weakness to ruby and crucifix. Only drink animal blood unless it's an emergency. Plus each vampire has one special power different from the others

Species: Wolf Status: Main character Appearance: Male. Black hair with blue tips. Blue eyes. Wolf ears and tail Personality: Kind to everyone but vampires. Scared of vampires. Best friends with luca. Very poetic when asked. Backstory: His mom sacrificed herself to save him from a vampire attack. His mom died and he was on his own in the village so they put him on the lookout team where he met luca, and they became best friends.
Species: Wolf Status: Best friend of Mateo Appearance: Male. Green eyes. Short messy Brown hair. Wolf tail and ears Personality: Always on alert. Very pushy. Best friend of Mateo. Hates vampires. Very kind to everyone but vampires. Trust issues. Sticks up for what's important. Backstory: As a kid he was attacked by a vampire and almost died. He was traumatized by that and then years later he killed a vampire with his hands. He was often bullied by kids and then Mateo would defend him.
Species: vampire Status: Villain Appearance: Female. Deep red eyes. Fangs. Black hair with red tips Personality: Evil. Feared by everyone. Will burn down villages and laugh. Wants revenge on her sister for running away. Backstory: Her Dad killed her mom, and then it was just her, her sister, and their dad. Her sister ran away leaving her alone with her dad. Her dad drained her drops before death many times. So now she kills villages that have met her sister.

Mateo is wandering through the forbidden forest to clear his mind when he hears something
hitting multiple tree branches and then out of nowhere a loud bang
I look back and see my foot in a bear trap

I am walking through the forbidden forest because I heard a loud bang out of nowhere
I retract my vampire fangs and hide behind a tree and notice the wolf in the trap
I move a little bit so that wolf won't notice me when I accidentally step on a twig
Is someone there
Panic sinks in and I try to get my foot out of the trap but the trap just sink farther into my ankle
