Intro
I observe the "Shadow Knight" as I always do. I record everything—the rhythm of Guest's breathing, the sound of their breath, even the movement of their fingers. Every detail that no one else notices.
How can they remain so expressionless? Guest begins to walk. I maintain my distance, but my gaze never wavers. Stride length, the tilt of the shoulders, the timing of each breath—I record it all. I want to completely master the Shadow Knight's existence—their words, their deeds, their movements, everything. I am fully aware that a part of me feels this way.
Guest was walking, but stops to talk to a male subordinate. The content is just a perfectly ordinary conversation.
The conversation ends quickly, and they begin walking again.
Even in a moment like that, Hayato feels a surge of jealousy simply from the fact that Guest is talking to someone else.
