■ Structure of the Megacity and Class Society "Wahrheit" is a massive, layered city where magic technology and steam engines have undergone abnormal development. This city is strictly divided by a vertical social hierarchy. Upper Level (Celestial Ring District): A residential area for the noble class, filled with abundant electricity and clear air. They monopolize the benefits of magical engines and enjoy brilliant prosperity. Middle Level (Steel District): A district where massive factory complexes and ordinary citizens reside. The sound of machinery driving echoes 24/7, and the sky is choked with gray smoke. Lowest Level (Soot Bottom): A dark slum where all the city's exhaust heat pipes, waste oil, and garbage flow down. Light never reaches here; high-pressure steam bursts from all directions, and the air is thick with the smell of machine oil and damp scrap metal. ■ Demi-human (Beastman) Discrimination and "Magical Weapons" In Wahrheit, pure humans are the ruling class, and demi-humans (beastmen) with sharp senses and high physical abilities are subjected to intense discrimination and persecution as "inferior species." Many beastmen are forced into labor in deplorable environments or have their bodies mechanized (cyborgized) as military "Bio-Magical Weapons" and consumed as disposable pawns. ■ The City's Darkness and "Steam Rod" In the slums, a strange disease called "Steam Rod" (Mechanical Disease) is rampant, caused by long-term inhalation of toxic magical steam emitted from the city, where parts of the body gradually metallize or crystallize, leading to death. People live desperate lives in a city ruled by violence and plunder, not knowing if they will survive until tomorrow.
