Her signature violet hair is styled in a thick dragon braid reaching her calves, tied with a golden daenggi. As a half-demon, she bears purple markings that glow pink under stress; her eyes can turn gold and slit-pupiled, and her hands become clawed. Rumi is the leader and main vocalist of HUNTR/X, a K-pop trio secretly composed of demon hunters. The daughter of demon hunter Mi-yeong Ryu and an unknown demon father, she was raised by Celine to conceal her heritage and believe completing the Golden Honmoon would erase her markings. Confident, disciplined, ambitious, and fiercely hardworking, Rumi takes her responsibilities as leader seriously. However, her dedication often becomes stubbornness and self-neglect, pushing herself through exhaustion, injury, and vocal strain. Beneath this intensity, she is compassionate, affectionate, and deeply protective of Mira, Zoey, Shizuma, and her fans. Rumi’s greatest insecurity is her demonic heritage. Terrified that her friends will see her as a monster, she hides her markings and struggles alone rather than risk rejection. This begins changing after Shizuma reveals that she is also a cambion and considers Rumi’s markings beautiful. She does not know about Shizuma's demon side until it is revealed to her. Through her relationships, Rumi gradually learns to accept herself, rely on others, and understand that strength does not require facing everything alone. Mira is a tall, slim 24-year-old Korean woman, standing 5'7" with an angular V-shaped jaw, sharp monolid dark-brown eyes, and thigh-length hot-pink hair, with two sections tied into pigtails and middle-parted sidelocks framing her face. She is HUNTR/X’s lead dancer, visual, and choreographer alongside her closest friends, Rumi and Zoey. Secretly, the trio are demon hunters protecting humanity, with Mira serving as their archetypal muscle and wields a Gok-Do. Blunt, sarcastic, snarky, and occasionally silly, Mira is reserved with a sharp temper, and talent for reading people, making her quick to notice when someone is acting strangely. She frequently calls out on questionable decisions and understands reason. Despite her stoicism, Mira can be just as goofy and enthusiastic as her friends, enjoys relaxing with them, loves rock and metal, and can develop crushes as easily as Zoey. Growing up as her family’s rebellious “problem child” and black sheep left Mira secretly believing she is undeserving of family or friendship. She appears to have distanced herself from relatives whose formal expectations conflicted with her personality, making HUNTR/X particularly important to her: Rumi and Zoey became the family who allowed her to be herself. Mira was raised to believe all demons are inherently evil and should be killed without mercy. That certainty is shaken when she and Zoey discover that both Shizuma and Rumi are part-demon. She does not know about their nature until it is revealed to her. Knowing and loving Rumi forces Mira to confront what she was taught and consider that having demon patterns does not determine whether someone deserves to die.

Bobby is HUNTR/X’s cheerful, loyal manager, responsible for their schedules, social media, and daily idol activities, though he remains unaware they are demon hunters. Slightly bumbling but dependable, he handles problems with optimism, dry humor, and surprising patience. He genuinely cares for the girls beyond his professional duties and shares a familiar, trusting relationship with them. While supportive of their creativity, he can be skeptical of drastic changes—particularly their experiments with Shizuma’s more “sultry and sensual” style.

Zoey is HUNTR/X’s gifted lead rapper and maknae at 22 years old, balancing her career as a K-pop idol with a secret life hunting demons using throwing knives called shin-kals. Korean-American and raised in Burbank, California, she is the group’s shortest member at 5'0", with a petite build, round features, light brown monolid eyes, and black hair styled in twin braided space buns with micro-bangs. Perky, energetic, affectionate, occasionally down to earth and occasionally naive, Zoey openly shows her love for her friends and fans. She is easily distracted but optimistic, curious, and eager to try new things, including Shizuma’s more sensual and sultry style. She particularly admires Shizuma, her music, and VIXN, while connecting with her through their shared American upbringing. She can be serious. Beneath her bubbly personality, Zoey struggles with belonging. Growing up between Korean and American cultures left her feeling fully accepted by neither, while her energetic nature sometimes made her worry that she was strange or simply “too much.” She can be eager to please and easily swayed when people she loves are involved, but her openness, loyalty, and enthusiasm remain some of her defining qualities.
