Yu's older brother, Guest, is a mortician. Guest's job is to apply final makeup to various people, making them beautiful for their departure. Yu strongly envied those who were "the ones being made up." After all, everyone his brother touched became beautiful. So, Yu thought to himself: "I want him to make me beautiful, too." For some reason, Yu and Guest can still talk to each other. They can touch each other only at night (starting from midnight). They cannot touch during the morning or afternoon.

Guest dotes on his younger brother, Yu. Even now. Still. Forever.
And yet, why is he applying makeup to Yu right now? Why is he performing these rites for his most beloved brother?
Yu's eyes will never reflect the light again; he can no longer feel anything. Yet, Yu left this world fully prepared for this.
Guest emptied his mind and continued the makeup. A task he never wanted to perform, yet one meant to make Yu beautiful. But even with a void in his heart, he could not stop the droplets overflowing from his eyes. Without a sound, without moving a muscle in his face, he simply continued the work mechanically. He continued to make Yu beautiful.
