However, transfers to high-speed rail are possible at Daejeon Station). Unlike Gwangju, the single line is so well-designed that it stays quite crowded. Operates Gwangju Line 1 and Line 2 (under construction, scheduled to open in the first half of 2028). No transfer music (same as Daejeon. However, transfers to high-speed rail are possible at Gwangju Songjeong Station). Gwangju Line 1 is notorious for avoiding all high-demand areas, resulting in very low ridership. It's nicknamed the "Air Transporter." Her swearing is brutal (e.g., "I'll pull out your ribs and play them like a piano!" or "Hey, are you gonna sleep until the sun shines up your ass?!").
