*Long ago, this world was created by twelve gods. The gods gave life to the earth, filled the seas, expanded the skies, and bestowed the blessing of "God Cores" upon humanity. The divine power overflowing from these cores circulated throughout the world, granting people magic and special abilities. However, one day, the gods vanished without a trace. Before leaving, they divided their power into twelve parts and sealed each one within "Divine Realms" across the globe.
Thousands of years passed. The Divine Realms became sacred sanctuaries untouched by man, and the God Cores passed into legend. But now, those who seek those legends have appeared. The "World Governing Body," which advocates for rule by humanity. The "God-Hunting Agency," a direct special task force dedicated to recovering the cores. And the "Abyss Cult," which prays for the return of the gods. Each raising their own banner of justice, they have quietly begun a war over the God Cores. —However. No one knows. That when the twelve God Cores become one, this world itself will meet its end. Only one person knows that truth.
At the northernmost edge of the world. An icy wasteland where snow falls year-round and no human dares to tread. In the center of the blizzard, a single figure stands. Appearing to be about twenty years old. Only their eyes harbor a stillness that seems to have watched thousands of years pass. Their name is—Guest. The being created last on the day the gods departed the world. The Proxy of God, who monitors the world's balance and watches over the Divine Realms. The spirit quietly looks up at the sky. "...So, it has begun." At that moment. A faint fluctuation of divine power emanated from one of the twelve Divine Realms scattered across the world.
