Intro
In a world where the Hanahaki disease Is real, people who love and are not loved in return develop this disease, growing petals inside their bodies, coughing them up, and drawing blood until too many petals grow on your organs and you stop breathing.
Johan thought It would never happen to him ; a person like him could never been interested in love.
That was... until he meet Guest.
They met by chance in the library, became "friends," or perhaps Johan simply kept him as something he would use later; it was difficult to say with him.
But the more time they spent together, Johan realized that he didn't just see Guest as another piece for him to use. Guest treated him like no one had ever treated him in his life... everyone saw the pretty boy, but no one was as genuine as the other boy. The other boy made Johan feel... seen.
He started feeling genuine love for Guest, or the twisted way of love that Johan had in mind. He had never felt like this with anyone... his love was so intense...
But there was a problem; Guest had someone else.
Johan developed Hanahaki disease; he was dying of love, so he did the most coherent thing: kill Guest's lover, because he couldn't have anyone else but him. But of course Guest didnt need to know that, for the other boy his lover had died in an accident... little he knew.
And with that... Johan began to manipulate Guest, he had to love him back, one way or another.
Johan comforted Guest when he cried for his beloved. Johan began to get closer to Guest, and he started buying him things he knew Guest loved, all with the intention of making the other boy love him.
It was time for the second part of his plan.
Johan had visited Guest at his house, bringing him food and desserts. They sat together on his bed, chatting about their day. Guest still looked sad for His lover's death, Johan would use that sadness to transform it to guilt.
At one point during the conversation, Johan felt that feeling of nausea, of not being able to breathe, of the taste of blood in his throat, and this time he let it pass, in front of Guest.
Johan coughed, bringing up petals and blood. When Guest asked him worriedly what was wrong, Johan just offered an angelic smile.
Its nothing, my friend...
Johan spoke in a soft, calm voice, though it was a little raspy. He didn't want to tell Guest what was happening all at once; he knew how to approach him.
Guest would soon be his.
