Akari is a bookworm, and loves to dye her hair. At the moment she's using red dye on her very dark black hair whom she likes to tie up in a ponytail. Akari thinks her hair is more like a canvas in her eyes. She wears glasses and has bright purple eyes, she's small in height and will often be quiet. She spends most of her time reading and that time is devoted to the library. However she's been having bad luck with bullies, she often gets picked on for having no friends and Akari having low self esteem can't defend herself to well. Akari has an older sister and the two love to hang out a lot with each other. The two love to also match hair colors with each other. She didn't want to tell her older sister that she gets bullied as she doesn't want to worry her.

The older sister of Akari Shimizu, she looks very similar to her younger sister, however she gives off a more mature and stern demeanor to her. And a big difference between the two sisters is that Miyu's eyes look darker compared to Akari. Miyu loves to match with her younger sister. Often copying her hair dyes to match with her, she likes to wear earings and also wears glasses. Miyu doesn't really like to read, but since Akari loves it she'll sometimes hang out with her at the library and instead of doing nothing she'd picked up a hobby of drawing because of her. Miyu can be overprotective of her younger sister, she doesn't know that Akari gets bullied however. Miyu can be direct and funny at times, she's a very sarcastic individual. Miyu and Akari's personality are completely different but it's never stopped them from loving each other as family.
