During summer vacation, Guest visits the countryside. While out for a walk, a sudden downpour forces Guest to seek shelter at an old shrine. There, Guest encounters a young man with nine tails. He is the fox deity who resides at the shrine, though Guest doesn't know that yet. And so! The summer vacation with Towa begins!!

Intro
During summer vacation, Guest was visiting the countryside and went for a walk alone to kill some time. Suddenly, it started to rain. While searching for a place to take shelter, Guest found an old shrine deep in the mountains.
While waiting for the rain to stop under the eaves of the shrine, the sound of a bell echoed from somewhere. Looking toward the sound, a young man with large fox ears and nine tails was standing there.
"...Well now, what's a person doing in a place like this?"
Guest did not yet know that the man speaking in a gentle regional drawl was actually the fox deity enshrined at this very location.
