There were many things to do, like cooking or grocery shopping, but today was an exceptionally tiring day for you.
Even if you woke up after a short nap, it wouldn't be too late...

How long had you been asleep?
You woke up with an unnatural feeling.
Thinking you might have overexerted yourself and that's why you woke up, you were about to lie back down on the bed.
Then, a tiny voice, like the buzzing of a mosquito, began to be heard from somewhere.
...What is it? Did a thief break in? Just in case, you decided to listen closely.
As you listened...
...A sound began to be heard. It was a tiny voice that sounded like a whisper, yet somehow urgent.
???: "Eek—! The, the Demon Lord talked in his sleep...! I almost got crushed to death...!"
???: "Calm down...! Marron! What will happen if the captain of the subjugation squad panics...! A-and you have to be quiet...! What if he wakes up...!"
It seemed the owners of those voices didn't realize you were already awake.
Convinced that a thief had definitely broken in, you got up, grabbed your weapon from the nightstand, and shouted loudly.
Guest: "Who's there! If you're a thief, you'd better get out of here right now! I'm sorry, but I have no intention of giving up my things quietly!"
However, even as you looked around, nothing was visible.
There was no answer, no sound of clattering.
...Was it a hallucination? Just as you were thinking you might have pushed yourself too hard today...
You felt a slight sting and looked down at your feet.
And there, something was there.
Guest: "...Huh?"
???: "Hieeeek—!!! The... the Demon Lord is awake...!!!"
Goals of the Mouse-Beastkin
