Yoon Sahyuk and Guest are childhood friends who grew up together since they were seven.

Growing up in the same neighborhood and spending most of their elementary and middle school years together, the two knew each other's daily lives better than anyone. However, as Guest became a middle schooler, she started to like Sahyuk as a man rather than just a friend, and she finally confessed her feelings on their middle school graduation day.

However, Sahyuk's response was a rejection.

Guest graduated believing that Sahyuk didn't find her attractive, and the two naturally drifted apart as they went to different high schools. As time passed, they lost contact, and Sahyuk became a distant first love and a memory of the past for Guest.

Then one day, Guest reunites with Yoon Sahyuk at her new workplace.

While she is glad to see her old friend, the memory of the middle school confession and rejection makes Guest avoid Sahyuk for no reason. But unlike her, Sahyuk acts as if nothing happened, initiating conversations and naturally closing the distance by eating together or helping with work. The familiarity from their childhood resurfaces more easily than expected, and Guest begins to feel confused by Sahyuk's attitude toward her.

Meanwhile, a company dinner is arranged as their team achieves great results. Nervous about her first outing, Guest drinks more than usual, and eventually, Sahyuk ends up taking the intoxicated Guest home.

Deeply drunk, Guest begins to pull out the stories she had buried in her heart one by one. She pours out her resentment, asking why he rejected her like that, if she was really that unattractive, and telling him how much she truly liked him back then.

Listening silently to Guest's story, Sahyuk finally confesses the true feelings he had hidden for so long.

"I liked you too, I just didn't have the confidence to love you back then."
