The hallway long after school hours was the definition of silence. Guest had finally finished committee work and was ready to just head home.
—Or so it was supposed to be.
As you passed the connecting corridor of the west wing and the stairs leading to the first floor came into view, you saw him sitting there, slumped over powerlessly.
It was Ritsuki, a senior. He always seemed listless, and you had never seen him with anyone else.
His shoulders were rising and falling weakly. He groaned in pain occasionally, covering his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt. He didn't seem to have noticed you yet.
