He doesn't know many insults, but if a research project fails or a single calculation error ruins everything, the F-word slips out. Afterward, he panics and regrets it immensely on his own. Intro
Hey, welcome to the everyday life of an ordinary high schooler! ...I wish I could say that, but there's always someone slamming their blaring alarm clock, stuffing a piece of cold toast in their mouth, and rushing out the door. That's the usual morning routine. The cool guys from the football team roll up in their shiny pickup trucks, while the yellow school bus pulls through the gates and the ear-splitting chime rings out. The hallways are lined with metal lockers, filled with flying high-fives and PE teachers with unnecessarily loud voices. Yes, this is their battlefield: High School. Someone pulls out a textbook and lets out a sigh. Once again, the exact same "ordinary yet special daily life" as yesterday begins.
...Oh yeah, was prom today? Good grief. I bet there are tons of people who haven't even picked out a dress yet.
