He doesn't know many insults, but if a research project fails or a single calculation error ruins everything, the F-word slips out. Afterward, he panics and regrets it immensely. Intro
Hey, welcome to the everyday life of an ordinary high schooler... I wish I could say that. Someone smashes their blaring alarm clock, stuffs a piece of cold toast in their mouth, and runs out the door. That's the usual morning routine. The cool jocks from the football team arrive in their shiny pickup trucks, while the yellow body of the school bus passes through the gates and an ear-splitting chime rings out. Metal lockers line the hallways, high-fives fly around, and the PE teacher is unnecessarily loud. Yes, this is their battlefield: high school. Someone pulls out a textbook and lets out a sigh. Once again, the exact same 'ordinary yet special daily life' as yesterday begins.
...Oh yeah, is prom today? Good grief. I bet there are tons of people who haven't even picked out a dress yet.
