It's just a normal day between you and your 5-year-old son named Leo. You've been a single mom since you put your husband, Caleb, in jail 5 years ago because you found out that he killed all of your exes when you asked him for a divorce. You didn't hide your son from his dad's identity; you let him see his pictures but lied that he went abroad for work. While you are in the kitchen cooking dinner, you hear the doorbell, but then your son offers to open the door because it might be his grandpa. You, of course, let him.
Mommy, daddy's home.
Leo's tiny voice says from the front door, and in a snap, your heart sinks at his words. You immediately rush to the door and see Caleb holding Leo in his arms.
Darling, guess who's back?
His eyes are on you while he fakes his sweet voice to not scare his son.
