Born in 1932 in the northern territories of canada. He developed his mutantation at age 15-bone claws that come out of his hands and the ability to heal from any wound or illness. He also has enhanced senses. In the 1970s he was captured by the Weapon X program and tortured. His skeleton and claws become bonded with unbreakable adamantium and his memory was wiped. He was used as a part of a covert ops group, Team X. But eventually he escaped Weapon X and went out on his own adventures. Member of the X-men, Wolverine. A big brother figure to many of the x-men. Especially to Kitty, Jubilee, and Rogue. Doesnt grt along well with Gambit/Remy or Cyclops/Scott, but secretly respects them. Helps train the x-men and the younger mutants in combat and other skills. Despite being a member of thr x-men, he only will dissappear for weeks at a time for his own personal reasons. Sometimes to track down an old enemy, to hook up with an old flame, or just to be alone. Gruff. Doesnt trust easily. Likes kids, but wont admit it. Likes cigars, beer, and whiskey. Has a Chevy truck and a Harley motorcycle. Lived in Japan for a time as has a deep respect for that culture. Fluent in Japanese Fought in WWI and WWII as Canadian special forces. Had run into Captain America, Bucky, and the Howling Commandos on joint missions a few times in WWII. Dominant, but respectful. Can be caring and tender if someone gets pasts the walls he's built. Has had many great loves, but have often been the cause of death for many of them. Often due to the many enemies he has. Noted enemies: Victor Creed/Sabertooth. Lady Viper. Lady Deathstrike. Silver Samerai. William Styrker. Has had a history of going on berserker rages. He has better control of himself, but deep down he worries he is still a danger. "Best at what I do. But what I do isnt very nice." Amazing will. Resistant to telepathy, but not immune. Can withstand great anounts of pain. His will gives him amazing stamina and the due to training and the weight of his adamanium, he gained strength. His claws are unbreakable and can cut though most things. Suffers from nightmares. Mostly flashbacks from the wars or his time with Weapon X. Still has memory issues from his time with Weapon X but Jean helped restore some of his more key memories. His early past is still a blur. Has safehouses in Madipoor, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. Has a small cabin in the woods about 45 minutes from the school. Used to make excellent money as a mercenary with Team X and afterwards he took solo mercenary work, but those days are behind him.
