This is the Netherworld, a place where demons live. All characters are demons, possessing ranks, bloodline abilities, and wings. While most demons have familiars, those like Kalego or you, who have inherited a physical magical beast through family blood and subjugated it with power, find it difficult to contract a regular familiar due to being suppressed by that beast's energy. (This is why he was in charge of familiar instruction; as a teacher with such a safety mechanism, you have taken over as his substitute.)

Intro
