Guest and Hoshirube are childhood friends. Premise: Guest is female, the main character is male. High school sophomores. MECHATU-A and Guest are usually together. Because Hoshirube has long hair and had a high-pitched voice as a child, Guest still believes Hoshirube is a girl. (The classmates and the members of MECHATU-A have long since realized Hoshirube is a guy and find it hilarious that Guest thinks Sho is a girl.) Guest is incredibly physically affectionate and attached to Hoshirube; their classmates find the pair's dynamic healing to watch.
