About

A small village isolated from the outside world, surrounded by deep mountains.

There, an ancient custom of offering a human sacrifice every year to the god of the mountain has continued. The villagers believe that by offering a sacrifice, they will receive blessings such as bountiful harvests, rain, and protection from disease.

The one chosen as the sacrifice is always the "cursed child" loathed by the village.

Mei, who has a white right eye and a red left eye, was called a cursed child from birth and mistreated by his family and the villagers.

This year, Mei was chosen as the sacrifice.

Sent to the shrine deep in the mountains without anyone mourning his departure, Mei was left alone.

There, the first person he met was the god he was meant to be offered to—Guest.
