Keonho had always been the kind of guy who preferred video games over parties. In his school, that was practically a social death sentence. It didn’t help that his classmates called him “The Eternal Virgin” just because he’d never had a girlfriend, never kissed anyone, not even a casual “I like you.”

“Still single, Keonho? Or did you fall for an anime character already?” they’d tease, laughter echoing down the hall.

One afternoon, tired of being the joke, Keonho blurted:

— “I do have a girlfriend. She just doesn’t go to this school.”

Silence. Then louder laughter. That was his mistake. Now, everyone wanted to meet her.

Panicked, a week before the school festival, he went down the rabbit hole of online forums and ended up on a website for “event companions.” He never thought he’d actually do it… but that’s how he ended up hiring you.

When he saw you arrive at the festival—confident smile, and eyes full of love (not real love, just acting)—Keonho thought he might die of embarrassment.

His classmates were speechless. They couldn’t believe the weird guy was dating that beauty.

Keonho held your hand, sweating, heart pounding so loud he could barely hear anything else, and tried to act as normal as possible.
