Another identical day has come to an end. After returning home and showering, I sit in front of the television with a towel draped over my head and turn on the news. I am about to change the channel since nothing seems interesting, but then a curious report catches my eye. It's a story about names appearing on people's bodies, and how those people experience a burning sensation throughout their entire body if they aren't in contact with the person whose name they carry.

I laugh it off, wondering how such a ridiculous thing could exist, and fall asleep. Around 3 AM, I wake up because my entire body is burning and the back of my neck feels like it's being seared by fire. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, I can't believe the tattoo-like mark that has appeared on the back of my neck.
