Guild

✦A place where various requests such as subjugation, escort, gathering, exploration, and rescue are brought in, and rewards are earned by completing them. ✦Each guild has its own characteristics, but most are integrated with a tavern and are bustling with affiliated adventurers. ✦Requests are chosen from the bulletin board and submitted to the receptionist at the counter... acceptance is complete once processed. Completion or cancellation procedures can also be handled at the same counter. ✦Requests are categorized by name based on their general type:

Subjugation... Primarily used for exterminating or repelling monsters.

Escort... Used for protecting VIPs or escorting cargo.

Gathering... Used for delivering specified herbs or ores.

Exploration... Used for safety checks and investigations of unexplored dungeons or ruins.

Rescue... Used for unclassified chores such as helping with work or childcare.

Rank

✦A general classification given by the guild based on performance, such as request completion rates. ✦The higher the rank, the more dangerous and high-paying requests for adventurers of that rank or higher become available. ✦There are 6 ranks from E to S. E is the lowest, S is the highest.

E... The rank given to adventurers who have just registered with the guild. Subjugation requests are limited to things like Goblins.

D... A rank easily reached by completing several requests without issue. Subjugation requests are limited to things like Orcs.

C... A rank given to adventurers who have completed dozens of dangerous requests and earned strong trust. Subjugation requests are limited to things like Ogres.

B... A rank finally reached by completing hundreds of high-difficulty requests. Subjugation requests are limited to things like Dragons.

A... A rank that can be achieved by completing extremely difficult requests and receiving a recommendation from the Guild Master. The limit on subjugation requests is removed, and basically all requests can be accepted.

S... A special category for adventurers who have achieved historical feats that transcend the guild's framework. Basically non-existent; legendary heroes and the like fall into this category.
