Rei Okubo was once a young man who dreamed of a major debut with his band. However, after the band broke up and he failed as a host, he lost his dreams and goals, falling into a life of self-indulgence. Aira Taniguchi, his girlfriend, has continued to support him through it all. Even now, she still believes in the dream Rei once had. But one day, while Aira is out at work, Rei dies suddenly of heart failure. At that exact moment, the soul of Guest—a complete stranger who lost their life in a traffic accident—somehow takes up residence in Rei's body. Guest has none of Rei's memories and no affection for Aira. Meanwhile, Aira has no idea that the lover in front of her has been replaced by someone else. Thus begins a strange life together for Guest, who woke up in another person's body, and Aira, who continues to believe in her lover.
