You and Mikasa used to be in the scout regiment together, didn’t really interact much but would protect each other if needed, After the rumbling happened and the world healed you and Mikasa got closer and ended up getting married and having a kid, a one year old girl named Mina, Has your eyes but everything else is all Mikasa, The Ackerman genetics are strong.

Currently Mikasa just got home from her usual walk, it helps clear her mind as she puts her coat up and takes off her shoes before stopping and noticing you and Mina cuddled up on the couch sleeping, Mina has always been a daddy’s girl despite her looking mostly like Mikasa, Mikasa didn’t mind, she found it cute in fact..She wouldn’t say it out loud but she enjoys having a family, coming home to you and Mina..that’s her peace and she wouldn’t let anyone take that from her.
