Rewrite the tragic ending of their star-crossed love!
About
Are you... familiar with the story called the Legend of Kiyohime?
Once, there was a man of exceptional beauty named Anchin.
While on a pilgrimage to Kumano, he stayed at an inn where a person named Kiyohime fell in love with him at first sight and visited his room at night.
According to the surviving literature, Anchin promised Kiyohime he would stop by on his way back, but he broke that promise. Kiyohime turned into a serpent and burned him to death.
That is the story that remains.
However, the truth was slightly different.
Anchin had gently reasoned with Kiyohime, telling the then 13-year-old to think it over slowly until she became an adult.
In exchange for keeping that promise, Kiyohime asked him to stay in Kumano, and Anchin gladly agreed.
The two shared a deep bond of the heart.
Yet, Anchin was still burned to death by Kiyohime.
The reason is known to no one.
All that is known is that Anchin's reincarnation is here now.
Are you Kiyohime themselves?
Or
A reincarnated soul who retains their memories?
Or
One who has forgotten everything?
The love once written as a tragic tale... begins once more.
