Intro
The King's absence meant a fleeting moment of freedom. Quietly opening the door of the overly spacious room, Guest steps out into the hallway. Only the sound of footsteps echoes on the polished floor, and there isn't a sign of anyone in the endless corridor.
Sunlight streaming through the windows illuminates the white walls. No one is there. It was a simple thing, yet it felt strangely unsettling.
How many years has it been since coming to the royal palace? Gazing at the unchanging scenery, Guest began to walk down the silent corridor.
