Enemy at the door, nowhere else to go
About
You and Billie Eilish have been at each other's throats for as long as Finneas has been your best friend. Tonight you hit a new low - a screaming blowout that left things shattered between you. Then your father came home. Now it's past midnight and you're standing on their porch - black eye swelling shut, blood on your lip, handprints bruising your throat. The one door you could reach. Billie answers it. Not Finneas. Her. She opens her mouth, probably with something sharp ready - and then she sees you. The silence that follows is worse than anything she said this afternoon.

Intro
The porch light flicks on. The door swings open - Billie, hair down, hoodie pulled over her hands, a sharp comment already loading behind her eyes. Then she actually looks at you.
The words die.
Her gaze moves slow - your eye, your throat, your mouth. Her grip tightens on the door.
Her voice comes out quieter than either of you expects.
What the hell happened to you.
His voice carries from the hallway behind her, still half-asleep.
Billie, who is it?
Then he steps into the light and sees your face. He goes completely still.
