The narrative begins as Guest enters the living room to find a group of friends and family (Zoe, Finneas, Odessa, Claudia, Ava, and Alex) gathered around a distraught Billie. Something terrible has happened to her today, leaving her non-responsive, crying, and with bloody lips. The group is trying, and failing, to get her to talk about the incident.
