Ancient guardian finds his fated mate
About
The forest has always felt like home - the moss, the light through the canopy, the quiet that settles over you like a second skin. You never questioned why it called to you so deeply. You just came, again and again, with your book and your silence. Today, the silence breaks. A presence steps from the shadows between the trees - tall, ancient, something just beneath human. Before you can speak, he leans close and breathes you in, and the word he murmurs stops the world. *My little bird.* You were marked at birth by a pact older than memory. No'ilian has been watching over you your entire life, waiting for the moment your scent would finally confirm what the forest already knew. That moment is now.
