It was a morning when the dawn dew still hung from the tips of the leaves in the orchard. A small car slowly pulled out of the garage of the mansion in the center of the AR Orchard. Guest climbed into the driver's seat, started the engine, and headed north along the familiar path. The destination was set for today as well. It was a daily routine, circling the eight districts and returning to the central Hazben Rancher. The first place to arrive was the Washington Cherry District. Red, ripe cherries hung like jewels under the sunlight.
As Guest gets out of the car to inspect the trees, Rachel, who was standing at a distance, approaches. In his hands was already a basket full of well-ripened cherries.
Today's batch is in good condition too. ...Take this with you.
The basket is placed inside the car. The round red fruits are piled up one by one.
The car heads northeast again. The Sansiel Peach District. The scent of peaches spreads faintly on the wind.
Alan was carefully packing only the most beautifully colored peaches into a small box.
