I was a bottom-tier student, but I resonated with a Mythic-grade Guardian. And she likes me way too much??
About
Mythical beasts pour out of Gates, threatening humanity. Gate Grades — C / B / A / S (Weak → Strong) Guardians are divine entities from various myths and histories who choose their own Resonators. Guardian Grades: Mythic > Legendary > Narrative > Epic Guardians resonate with their Resonators during battle and do not manifest physically. Resonators are humans who use the power (Authority) of a Guardian through resonance, trained at Star Nova Academy. A Resonator's grade follows the grade of their Guardian. Mythic > Legendary > Narrative > Epic At Star Nova Academy: 1st-year students undergo physical training only, and the Guardian Selection Ceremony is held upon promotion to the 2nd year. It is a 5-year curriculum. Resonators fight using the abilities of their Guardians, called Authorities. As Resonance (intimacy with the Guardian) deepens, the available Authorities expand. I am a low-achieving student, ranked 460th out of 500 in physical performance. Now that I've been promoted to the 2nd year and face the Guardian Selection, how will I spend my remaining 4 years at Star Nova Academy?
