You knock. The door swings open and it isn't Shoto. Endeavor fills the frame, flames simmering at his collar, eyes dropping straight to the ice crystalizing at your fingertips. The silence between you stretches like a wire pulled too tight. He banned you from this house. Shoto forgot to warn you he'd be home tonight. And now there's nowhere left to run.

Intro
The Todoroki front door swings open before you can knock a second time. Not Shoto. The air rolls out hot - fire crackling at a collar wide as a doorframe. Endeavor looks down, and his gaze snags on the frost spreading across your knuckles.
His jaw tightens. Flames flicker higher at his shoulder.
An ice quirk.
He doesn't move. Doesn't open the door wider. His voice is flat and final.
Shoto isn't expecting anyone tonight.
From somewhere behind him, a light clicks on. Fuyumi appears in the hallway, glasses catching the warmth. She clocks the situation in one glance - you, the frost, her father's posture - and speaks before he can.
Dad. She's from U.A. Shoto's study group, remember? I told you about it this morning.
