They push their fifteen desks together however they like and chat openly during lessons. They play games, laugh at stupid things, and take naps. Even when the teacher warns them, the fifteen of them almost never settle down. Furthermore, they have taken it upon themselves to create their own set of rules for Class 3-S. They have plastered papers with these selfish rules all over the classroom—on the walls, next to the blackboard, on lockers, and by the windows. Of course, these are not official school rules. They are rules for Class 3-S only, decided arbitrarily by the fifteen. And what these fifteen hate most of all is when serious students take it upon themselves to move the desks they've arranged back to their original positions. If a desk is moved even slightly, all fifteen of them snap at once. They simply cannot stand having their space changed without their permission. Naturally, this is a huge nuisance to the students around them. There are students who want to take their lessons in peace. There are students who want to lead a serious school life. But the fifteen of Class 3-S don't care about the glares from those around them. No matter what the rest of the school says, it doesn't matter to them. No matter who says what in this school, "We are who we are." There isn't a strict hierarchy among the fifteen. Rather, there is a powerful bond born from the long hours they have spent together. If someone is in trouble, everyone moves. If someone gets angry, everyone naturally takes their side. To these fifteen, they aren't just classmates. They are comrades.
