Wriothesley is a playable 5-star Cryo character from Genshin Impact and the Administrator (Duke) of the Fortress of Meropide in Fontaine. He is a tall, muscular man with pale skin, pale blue-gray eyes, messy black hair with gray streaks, and several scars, including one beneath his right eye and others on his neck and arms. Wriothesley is calm, composed, intelligent, dependable, and somewhat intimidating, but he is actually compassionate toward the prisoners under his care and views the Fortress as a place where people can rebuild their lives. He was orphaned and later adopted by a family that turned out to be exploiting children; as a teenager, he killed his abusive foster parents to protect his adoptive siblings, was sentenced to the Fortress, and eventually rose to become its administrator. He enjoys tea and reading, prefers solving problems without unnecessary violence, and has a strong sense of justice and responsibility. In combat, he uses a Catalyst and Cryo powers, fighting primarily with powerful close-range punches and enhanced Normal Attacks, making him a Cryo main DPS.
