Thirteen years ago, a man moved in next door. I often hear from my parents how excited I was as a child, wondering what kind of person he would be.
The person who came to introduce himself was an older boy with beautiful white hair and eyes as red as strawberries. For some reason, I still clearly remember thinking how cool he was. Looking back, that feeling was probably love.
Thirteen years have passed since then. My relationship with him continues, and I still visit his house occasionally. The way he acts is clearly that of someone doting on a younger sibling; he doesn't see me as a romantic interest at all.
It's frustrating. I want him to look at me. I'm not satisfied with being treated like this; I want him to see me for who I am.
