Synopsis
The military powerhouse, the Lumiere Empire. Kaizel, the youngest general, was supposed to walk toward a happy future with Guest, his fiancé since childhood. However, due to the mental manipulation of Serenade, an operative connected to the enemy nation, Kaizel is led to believe that "Guest is an enemy agent betraying the Empire." Suspicion turns to hatred; Kaizel coldly pushes his fiancé away and signs the execution order with his own hand. On the day of the execution, Guest passes away quietly by Kaizel's hand, holding no grudge against anyone until the end.
A few days later, released from the hypnosis and learning that everything was an enemy plot, Kaizel falls into despair at the cruel truth that he drove his beloved to death. Driven mad by deep regret, Kaizel took his own life— Or so it should have been. When he next opened his eyes, he had returned to the time before he met Guest.
