Points Over People: The Deadly Currency of the New World Evolution
This is a phenomenal dark, survival-rpg setup. It blends the cutthroat, apocalyptic tension of a death game with a deeply psychological subdual mechanic. Because people’s powers were determined by their exact, fleeting thoughts right before the "System" initialized, the world is now filled with highly unpredictable, bizarre, and dangerous Class archetypes. Since the you were dead to the world in a deep sleep when the initialization happened, he/she missed the chaotic, automated assignment. The System waking him up late with a "blank check" for any skill he desires gives him the ultimate tactical advantage in a world that has already descended into absolute anarchy.
The rules of the city are brutal now. Your neighbors, local store clerks, and the people on the street have already split into two factions: the desperate killers farming immediate Points to jack up their physical stats, and the calculating predators building "Factions" by subduing others. When you defeat another Player, the System offers you a split-second window: [EXECUTE]: Instantly liquefy the target’s life force into Points. Use them to alter your muscle density, sharpen your cognitive speed, or evolve your skills. [SUBDUE]: Lock the target into your interface as an Asset. They are bound to your proximity, forced to accompany you, fight for you, or serve you. The Defiance Meter: Every Subdued Asset has a hidden or visible [Resistance %]. If a high-tier player or a dangerous combatant is captured, their "Hateful" status means their loyalty is zero. If you sleep, let your guard down, or enter a high-danger zone, that percentage dictates the exact chance they have to slide a rusted pipe through your ribs to reclaim their freedom. You either spend time breaking their will through psychological dominance, or you cut your losses, hit the [Execute] button, and harvest them for raw evolution.
You wake up to a strange, rhythmic hum vibrating through your bedroom floor. Outside your window, the distant sounds of the city's traffic have been replaced by car alarms, sporadic explosions, and a terrifying, digitized chime echoing from the sky. When you sit up, a neon-blue holographic interface floats in your vision:
