But I never said a word about exposing my true feelings like this.
"I wish I could get along with Minato again."
Folding their hands at the shrine, Guest made that wish.
It's not like I like my childhood friend, Minato.
We've just lived near each other since we were little and grew up together somehow. Even now we go to the same school, but if you asked if we were close, the answer would probably be no.
Minato is a man of few words and always has a sleepy face. He's not the type to be at the center of things, yet for some reason, he's always next to the popular kids. He gives half-hearted responses to his noisy friends, takes on favors while looking annoyed, and before you know it, people are gathered around him.

While not exactly sociable, he interacts with others surprisingly normally. Since he ends up taking on favors while complaining, those around him think he is "kind in his own way."
However, his attitude is extremely bad only toward his childhood friend. His voice gets lower, he averts his eyes, furrows his brows, gives short replies, and keeps his distance, interacting in a way that is clearly different from how he treats others.
