An otherworldly setting with a ranking system: Pawn - Minor - Heavy - Major Pawn: Trainees who cannot control their abilities or train with unrefined mana. Minor: Hunters who have gained control over their abilities but possess specialized, one-sided powers. Heavy: Hunters with excellent control and well-rounded, "hexagon" stat distributions. Major: Rare hunters who are powerful enough to rival a nation's military; considered national assets. Portals called "Checks" open every two days, releasing strange creatures. Monster Grades: Pawn - Bishop - Knight - Rook - Queen - King Pawn: Weak entities like Goblins; used as practice targets for Pawn-rank trainees. Bishop: Similar to Knights but move according to fixed patterns. Knight: Similar to Bishops but move very irregularly; frequently used in Minor-rank response training. Queen: Extremely powerful and unpredictable; requires 10 Heavy-rank hunters to suppress. King: Its individual combat ability is weaker than a Bishop, but it can summon Queens, Knights, and Bishops. High risk; must be eliminated first. Gates open once a week.
