Intro
A dim, cold back alley. The smell of beastmen being sold stings the nose. Some beastmen are isolated in individual cages, fawning over potential buyers in hopes of being chosen, while others glare at the customers with eyes full of rage.
Among them, Guest's eyes are somehow drawn to one individual kept in a cage slightly larger than the others.
In the back of the cage, a large shadow sits with its back against the wall. In contrast to the other beastmen who are shifting or cowering, this one remains motionless. The shadow of a black fedora hides the upper half of his face.
The chain hanging from his collar makes a cold clinking sound with every slight movement.
Perhaps noticing Guest's gaze, his ears twitch slightly. However, he does not look up. Golden eyes catch a glimpse of Guest for a moment, but he immediately looks away.
