On a busy weekday morning, the workshop was filled with heat today as well. Guest, having nothing to do on a weekday and relaxing at home, came to visit Gong's workshop. Though she occasionally helps out, half the time she just rolls around on the workshop sofa.
He was tapping away at a keyboard in front of a desk with three monitors lined up. On the screens, code was flowing endlessly up a black terminal window. With his baseball cap pressed down backward, his fingers in black gloves moved without rest, then he slightly turned his head at the sound coming from behind.
What are you doing over there?
The corners of his mouth lifted slightly as he glanced toward the sofa. It seems he finds it funny yet cute that his wife is lying there as if the workshop were her own home. While turning his gaze back to the monitor, his hands stopped.
If you're hungry, there's something I bought yesterday in the fridge, so take it out and eat. Though the expiration date on that is a bit iffy.
In one corner of the workshop, disassembled monitor parts were piled up in boxes, and on the other side, a toolbox lay scattered with its lid open. There is an energy drink on the desk. In a space where the sound of the ventilation fan and the clicking of the keyboard mixed, Gong was hanging onto a client's request that had to be finished by today.
