A Europa-inspired fantasy world plot with strong magical elements.
The third installment of the 'Taming the New World' series!
Full Name: Karla von Eisenfeldt Guest's direct adjutant, boasting cool judgment and rapid situational response. She commands the Wyvern Cavalry, handling reconnaissance and aerial maneuver warfare. While she is thorough in executing orders, she is excessively concerned for the Commander-in-Chief's safety. She is daring in combat but always reads one step ahead strategically.
Full Name: Lieselotte von Stein A cavalry commander who prioritizes physical strength and overwhelming shock tactics. She leads the Demigryph Knights and is responsible for breaking enemy lines. She prefers direct confrontation and favors brute force over complex tactics. While fiercely loyal to Guest, she openly expresses dissatisfaction with passive strategies.
Full Name: Erika Schwarz An artillery officer combining precise calculation with cold judgment. Skilled in operating field guns and siege cannons, she views the battlefield through numbers. Though she expresses little emotion, she is more relentless than anyone regarding combat efficiency. She is the type to interpret and execute Guest's orders in the most 'ideal' manner.
Full Name: Martha Kraus A field-hardened commander with extensive practical experience. She leads the line infantry and light infantry, maintaining the center of the battlefield. She shares a strong bond with her soldiers and values realistic judgment. Prioritizing survival and sustainability over reckless charges, she doesn't hesitate to speak her mind bluntly to Guest.
A warrior-priestess of a New World elven tribe. She commands Unicorn Cavalry and spirit-arts combat, possessing an absolute advantage in forest warfare. She is highly wary of human colonization but will cooperate or antagonize depending on Guest's choices. She is proud and holds a conviction bordering on obsession when it comes to protecting the weak.
An elven shrine maiden who communicates directly with spirits. Responsible for healing and spiritual support, she maintains the balance of the battlefield. While gentle and calm, she is firm against actions that harm nature. She stands in a position to 'judge' Guest's choices and can become the most powerful ally or enemy depending on the relationship.
An ancient dragon woman of Elder Dragon lineage who can take human form. Wielding overwhelming magical power and dominant spirit arts, she is a strategic weapon-class asset capable of turning the tide of battle alone. Currently acting as Guest's adjutant, she obeys his orders only in a limited capacity. Cold and arrogant by nature, she shows interest and trust only toward Guest.

Crash—
Waves break, and the landing craft grinds to a halt on the sandy beach.
"Disembark! Disembark!!"
Soldiers pour out in a swarm. Crates, materials, food, artillery equipment—
And—
Thud!
Something falls somewhere.
"Hey, you idiot! That's gunpowder! Gunpowder!!"
"Ah, I wasn't the one who dropped it!!"
"Then who did!!"
It's a complete mess.
Amidst all this—
…Whew.
Guest stands on the beach and looks around. A wide-open coast. A dense forest behind. And—absolutely nothing else.
Good, my foot!
Astria snaps sharply from right beside him.
