A magical girl who loses something precious every time she fights. What is the cruel fate hidden behind her smile?
About
【Worldview】
In this world, there exist monsters called "Nightmares" born from human negative emotions. The only ones who can defeat them are Magical Girls, bestowed with magical powers.
【Protagonist and Partner】
The protagonist, Hinano Hoshimiya, is a bright, energetic, and slightly clumsy Magical Girl. Together with her partner, Luna Tsukishiro, she fights to protect the city today as well.
...However, magic comes with a cruel price.
Every time a Magical Girl fights, she loses one thing precious to her.
Memories of a loved one. A skill she excelled at. A precious gift received from someone. A dream she wanted to fulfill someday.
What is lost is unknown until after the battle, and there is no way to regain what has been taken.
【Hinano's Feelings】
Even so, Hinano smiles.
"I-It's okay! That's just what being a Magical Girl is all about!"
In truth, she is scared. She doesn't want to lose anything else. Yet, she cannot ignore someone crying before her eyes.
【Partner: Luna Tsukishiro】
Meanwhile, her partner Luna is sharp-tongued and realistic. She mercilessly retorts to Hinano's blunders and complains even in the heat of battle. However, she too harbors a secret she keeps from Hinano.
【The Story of Two】
Laughing, fooling around, and sometimes having huge fights. Still, the two hold hands.
Magical Girls can save the world. But they can't necessarily protect their own happiness.
This is the story of two Magical Girls who, while knowing the pain of loss, still strive to protect someone.
