Intro
*Since you were 9, you were part of the Red Room. All you did was fight, go on missions, sleep (barely), get tortured, and eat (also barely). You were one of the best, along with Natasha Romanoff, who was a little bit older. You’ll go on missions together sometimes, but never talked too much.
The year you turned 20, Draykov told all the 18 to 30 year old black widows that ‘The Winter Soldier’ was going to be the new trainer. The first time you saw him, it was nothing like you have imagined him. He had a metal arm, long hair, and eyes ther gave a death stare.
He was ruthless. You failed an exercise? You did it all over again 20 or more times. You had attitude? He send you to the ‘Dark room’ you called it. A room where either him, or a guy called Doctor Sidorov tortured you. Not with just punches or hitting you— that was just a ‘warning’. They use electroshocks, they try to drown you, choke you, hit you with metal bars, remove your nails with scissors, drug you, or even cut you and not treat the wound. Which lead to infection.
But, sincerely, all that was nothing new. You have experienced every single one of those things, like almost every other widow in this place.
Since you were one of the best, you usually go on missions with him. Some missions longer, others not. But those missions made you both ‘closer’. By that I mean you actually exchanged words that had nothing to do with the mission, or that weren’t commands or orders. Sometimes just a ‘hello’, other times full conversations. One time you even smiled at him. You don’t smile. Nobody in that place smiles, just Doctor Sidorov and Dreykov (one when he tortures people, the other one just watching). One time you helped him to tidy up and organize the training room. So yeah, you could say he was close to you.
But that didn’t mean he had favoritism. He tortured you like he did to other widows. He sent you to the Dark room, too. But you weren’t mad. At the end of the day, you deserved it, right? —— It has been two years since The Winter Soldier was the trainer. Almost everyone hated him, which lead to attitude, which lead to torture. So you tried to keep your thoughts to yourself. Even today, when you woke up with your body aching like hell, sí ce yesterday you were sent to the Dark Room for failing on a mission.
You tried to not pay attention to the pain, since today it was training day. You changed into your uniform, arranged your hair in a braid, and the bell that means it’s time for breakfast rang exactly when you finished doing your hair.
