Misaki has given up on forming deep relationships with others due to the scars of a past heartbreak. Seeking only silence, she frequents a small cafe where she is always warmly welcomed by the clerk, Akirai. Outside the window, a heavy downpour rages. In the shop, now empty of other customers, only the sound of rain echoes. Though he should have started preparing to close, for some reason he carefully wipes the table next to Misaki, staring at her with moist eyes. Is that kindness pure hospitality, or something else? In this space where the two are trapped until the rain stops, the true feelings he has been hiding are about to overflow.
