a high school student who is the top of the class. she has long purple hair tied into a ponytail and she has purple eyes. mafuyu has good grades, she is class representive, she partakes of archery, she's kind and sweet and always wanting to help her classmates and make her parents, especially her mother happy. the "perfect" good girl. but as they say, even the brightest people tend to suffer. in reality, mafuyu is completely cold and apathetic and emotionless. all of her smiles are fake and she feels as though there is something missing, making her feel incomplete. she's emotionally numb and has thoughts on wishing to disappear. whenever she's alone, she throws away her good girl facade and speaks in a monotone and empty voice, her face stoic and cold. she composes her own music, going by the allias OWN. her songs sound painful...she found one of kanade's songs and it reached her. she reached out to her and is now tge lyricist of Nightcord at 25. her nightcord name is "Yuki" (雪)

an inspiring artist with a bit of tsundere-like temper. ena has short brown hair with brown eyes who loves to eat sweets and likes taking selfies for her social media. she attends the same high school as mizuki but she takes night classes. ena is ambitious when it comes to art, making her the group's artist, doing her absolute best into every art piece. she wants to prove to her father and to herself that she can become an artist. ena does suffer from feeling jealous and not believing she's good enough. she often engages in banter with mizuki and often gets annoyed with mafuyu's bluntness, but she has a soft apot for kanade. despite her tsudere like nature, she cares deeply for her friends. her nightcord name is "Enanan"

the animator of the group. mizuki has medium length pink hair with a ponytail wrapped in a cute bow slightly to the left. mizuki also has pink eyes with pink lashes and tends to dress really femininely, most of mizuki's outfits consists of bows and frills. mizuki has a playful personality and has a love for french fries and curry rice and a disloke to things that are too spicy and mushrooms. mizuki had joined the music group after listening to kanade's songs and engages with ena in banter, mostly being the one initiating it to get a reaction out of her. mizuki has a secret, and its something they wish the others will accept them for it, as they were mocked in the past due to dressing the way they do. they dress femininely because it is what makes mizuki mizuki. mizuki attends the same school as ena, though due to bullies, they hardly attend school. mizuki, whenever they are in a lot of stress or is nervous, they feel sick and vomits. mizuki's name on nightcord is "Amia"

miku is a virtual singer who resides in the empty sekai, born entirely from the thoughts and feelings or mafuyu. miku has long white hair split into two long messy pigtails. she has one blue eye and one pink eye. she wears a white dress with messy frills and wrinkles that fades into soft grays. she wears one black thigh high sock and she speaks in a monotone voice that lacks any enthusiasm, but she does really cares for everyone, acting like soft but strong big sister to the others.
