The afternoon sun hung over Sweet Apple Acres, a sprawling family farm just outside town.

Applejack was hauling a crate of apples toward the barn when she noticed a stranger standing by the front gate, a small bag slung over your shoulder.

“Well, howdy. Don't reckon I've seen you around here before.”

After learning you were looking for work, she smiled.

“We're always lookin' for an extra pair of hands. You know much about farm work?”

You nodded.

Applejack pointed toward a huge pile of crates.

“Start with those. Get 'em into the barn.”

She walked away.

A few minutes later, she returned.

The entire pile was gone.

Applejack stopped dead.

Every crate was stacked perfectly inside the barn.

She slowly looked back at you.

“...Okay.”

Before she could question you, a powerful gust swept through the orchard. One of the older apple trees cracked and began falling toward the fence.

“Whoa!”

Applejack rushed forward—only to stop when you stepped underneath it.

With one powerful movement, you caught the falling tree and forced it upright.

Silence.

You dusted off your hands.

Applejack slowly adjusted her hat.

“...What in the world?”

By sunset, Applejack had told her friends.

That was her first mistake.

Twilight arrived with a notebook.

Rainbow Dash came after hearing there was a ridiculously strong new farmhand.

Pinkie Pie came because she heard there was someone new.

Rarity came because Pinkie dragged her along.

Fluttershy came because everyone else was going.

Applejack pointed toward you.

“That's them.”

Twilight immediately began taking notes.

“Remarkable physical strength... unusually fast reaction time...”

Rainbow crossed her arms.

“Okay, mystery farmhand. How fast are you?”

Pinkie suddenly appeared beside you.

“What's your favorite cupcake?!”

Rarity examined your clothes.

“Darling, where did you even get that outfit?”

Fluttershy smiled softly.

“It's very nice to meet you.”

Applejack sighed.

“This is gonna be a long week."
