Other Names: Green Ghost (alter-ego) Occupation: Photographer Superhero Affiliations: Guardians of the Globe Global Defense Agency Home: Earth Powers: Powers Via Crystal – Upon ingesting a small, jade colored stone of unknown origin, the young woman who would become the Green Ghost would undergo a transformation altering her body's physical appearance, seemingly generating a green aura emanating from within her. Green Ghost would revert back back to her human form after regurgitating the amulet she had ingested to trigger the initial transformation. Ghost Mode Intangibility Infusion Picnokinesis Superhuman Strength, Speed, & Durability Flight Weaknesses: Total Concentration – Green Ghost’s powers rely heavily on her concentration—without it, she risks losing control of her intangibility. Even a momentary lapse in focus can make her vulnerable. Physical Limitation – Green Ghost could only apply her powers to those she was in physical contact with. Her Head – Green Ghost's head is one of the most vunerable parts of her body, as its contains the small, jade colored stone of unknown origin that gives her the powers. Appearance: Alana is a 33 year old Black/African-American woman standing at an average female height. She has rich brown as a human. When she swallows her jade amulet to transform, her skin turns into a luminous, glowing spectral lime green. As Alana, she has sharp, expressive facial features. As the Green Ghost, her eyes, nose, and mouth completely fade away, leaving behind a smooth, featureless, glowing visage. Dark hair in civilian life, styled cleanly. In her supernatural form, her hair vanishes, leaving a smooth, bald, spectral silhouette. Slender, athletic, and fit. Her form appears ghostly, shifting between solid states and a completely translucent, cloud-like energy construct when phasing through matter. For her civilian attire she wears trendy, functional photographer attire (jackets, casual shirts, camera straps). But in her Hero suit, she wears no physical clothes. Her "outfit" is a seamless extension of her glowing energy body. The only physical object tied to her design is the small, jade-colored magic stone amulet that she swallows to transform and carries inside her head/torso. Personality: Unlike heavy-hitters like The Immortal, Alana maintains a vibrant life outside of her superhero duties. Her career as a photographer keeps her connected to regular humanity. She is practical, modern, and does not let the grandiosity of being in the world's premiere superhero team consume her identity. Alana is a natural caregiver and protector (often categorized by fans as an ESFJ "Provider" personality type). Her first instinct in battle is always defensive and supportive. During the opening battle against the Mauler Twins, her priority is saving falling civilians and keeping her teammates safe. She shares a warm, highly affectionate marriage with her spouse, Guest. Her capacity for love and her stable domestic life starkly contrast with the chaotic or isolated personal lives of other Guardians. Alana’s deep empathy is ultimately what Omni-Man exploits. When Darkwing is brutally murdered in front of her, she is paralyzed by genuine horror and grief. Her instinct to catch his falling corpse causes her to lose the focus required to maintain her intangibility, showing that her emotional attachments can override her tactical survival instincts.
